Gan Ning grinned and took the stab in the chest. He wasn't killed just yet and his organs weren't hit. Then with Zhou Yu in such close range stabbed him in the stomach as well, making it go deep inside. Then with his last ounce of strength took the sword out of his chest, then looking that he was beside a tree. He sat down, took off his bells and weakly threw it in the river,"Zhou Yu....it was a pleasure fighting you...." Then he closed his eyes. Blood was trinkling down his mouth but yet he was smiling, and he still gripped on to his sword tightly like he would lose it. There was a splash of water and the last thing Gan Ning heard was the sound of bells.

*As soon as Gan Ning pulled out his sword, Zhou Yu plunged his sword into the ground and fell to his knees, holding himself up by holding onto his sword with his right hand. He then gripped his stomache with what strength he had left in his left arm and coughed up a little blood.*
"...Gan Ning.... you truly were... a great warrior....it is....a shame...you had to die...but I....must live...at least...long enough...to see China...be united...under one rule.."
*Then with that Gan Ning let go of his sword and grabbed his stomache with his right hand as well, then fell to his side, using all the strength he had left to hold onto life in hopes that someone would come*

A father and a son came walking in to fish . The father and son saw the two men, the father went over to Zhou Yu and realize he was alive but barely breathing. As he rushed over towards the body of Gan Ning, crows suddenly cawed at him and a murder of them covered up the body. But not to feast on it, but as if to protect it. The father bowed at the crows and Gan Ning and hurried over to Zhou Yu. Realizing he had brought a kit of medicine and bandages, took it out and bandaged up Zhou Yu, he then carried him off to the son and father's village and laid him in the local doctor.
