There are 2 things to do the in Exchange:
1. Gamble certain amount of gold, to try and double your earnings, or every gain special items.
(To determine if you win the gamble, choose 3 numbers and a Mod will RNG from 1-10 and if your number comes up you win, if it doesnt you lose, and lose your gold you tried to double) All gold lose will be kept in a "pot" here and if someone wins they will gain all that gold.
2. Propose a trade of one of your items, and see who is willing to trade with you.
