If you haven't been there yet - the founding member of ROTK Game has retired from his position. Hopefully he'll turn up once to answer an important question from me - otherwise, we may have to reform the entire board.

Fine, I'll defend this site by myself if I have to!
Ya know, I'm thinking the cheungsong/sorosuub/BJT era might involve a lot more development on the battle mechanics. We need something that runs faster, but still feels like authentic ROTK, and also involves personal choice. I'm thinking less movement, more tactics personally. Smaller board might help too.

Vaga.... Problem is, we (admins) need to discuss a lot of stuff, and we can't stop the game either.
BTW - the battle fixing might be easier, now that we aren't at war. I'm thinking more like this site. It could work. Commander moves troops around field. Each officer gets certain tactics (meaning Huang Zhong's more likely to take an archer unit than say Ma Chao...) as in ROTK - and chooses either to use them or a normal attack (default). Led determines order of attack each day, cha does buggerall. Int determines success percentage of most tactics, I guess, as modified by terrain - see, it's not a copy of this site....
Like I said, big work in progress. But Wo Di's done a decent job of laying down the core mechanics of battle.
